Shooting in East Bakersfield
Kern County Sheriff’s deputies responded at around 2:40 a.m. Tuesday to a call of shots fired on Jeffrey Street between North Inyo and Irene Streets.
They found a man lying in the roadway. He was taken to the hospital.
Authorities haven’t released any names or a motive for the shooting.
