Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle downtown….

A woman crossing the street outside of the crosswalk was struck and killed by a vehicle in the 1600 block of Truxtun Avenue downtown about 4:30 this morning….the driver of the vehicle, remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Speed, alcohol, or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the collision.The investigation is ongoing.
