Gas Station: We Hate Our Prices Too

The owner of a gas station in Minnesota is just as fed up with high gas prices as the rest of America.

23ABC reports Chuck Graff who owns Murphy’s Service Center in St. Anthony, Minn., has posted a sign at his business reading, “We hate our gas prices, too.”

Graff told WCCO-TV, “It’s just kind of our way of letting the customer know that we feel their pain.”

“It’s nice that they’re having a little fun with it,” customer Daud Nooh told WCCO. “I mean, life has its challenges always, so it’s good to just put a little humor in life.”

The American Automobile Association reports the average national price for a gallon of regular-grade gasoline is $5.01.  In California, the average price is $6.43.

Analyst Trilby Lundberg of the Lundberg Survey said Sunday soaring prices are due to the rising cost of crude oil and high demand for gasoline.
