Fewer People Looking For Jobs
The number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits dropped again last week.
The number of applications fell by 9 thousand for the week ending February 3, bringing the total down to 218 thousand.
This total feels positive despite recent news of layoffs at big companies.
Overall, 1.87 million Americans were collecting unemployment benefits for the week ending January 27.
