Birth Control Getting Easier To Find
A new birth control option could be hitting the shelves soon.
On Thursday, the Food and Drug Administration announced that it had approved the first over-the-counter birth control pill.
The company, Perrigo, will be able to sell its once-a-day pill over the counter without the need for a prescription.
There will be no age limits on purchasing the pill.
Perrigo will begin shipping the medication in 2024.
