Woman Struck and Killed by Vehicle Identified

The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified a woman who was hit by a vehicle on Truxtun Avenue in central Bakersfield.
Elizabeth Jane Vigil, 59, was struck by a vehicle on July 19 at around 4:30 a.m. and was taken to Kern Medical where she died.
The Bakersfield Police Department reported a Hall Ambulance facilities maintenance truck was involved in the accident.
