Woman in NE Bakersfield Crash Identified

The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified a woman who died in a crash on Alfred Harrell Highway.
Eugenia Esperanza Villarreal, 23, was riding in the passenger seat when the car rolled off the road and landed in a ditch along Alfred Harrell Highway near Hart Park at around 8:00 p.m. Sunday. The Highway Patrol reports Villareal died at the scene.
One other person was injured in the crash after being ejected from the car.
