Structure Fire in West Bakersfield

A structure fire was reported on Shellabarger Road in west Bakersfield at approximately 5:46 p.m. Tuesday.
Officials with the Kern Country Fire Department say flames burned a detached workshop.
Crews worked on the fire for over an hour. The cause remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.
