Motorcyclist Dead After Accident on Highway 178

A motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a pickup truck on Highway 178.
The crash happened at around 9 p.m. Sunday near the Kelso Creek Road exit.
The CHP says the rider sped past the three vehicles and ultimately collided with the left front of the Dodge. The motorcyclist was ejected from the 2001 Yamaha and died at the scene.
There’s no word if drugs or alcohol were factors in the accident.
