Crash Leaves Motorcycle Rider Dead
A crash involving a motorcycle closed Riverlakes Drive near Centennial High School.
The accident occurred at approximately 6 a.m. Wednesday and closed a stretch of roadway from Hageman Road to Hawks Lane.
The Bakersfield Police Department reports the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene after apparently failing to negotiate a curve.
