Bakersfield Toddler Drowns in Swimming Pool

A 3-year-old child was pronounced dead after a drowning Saturday at a home in east Bakersfield.
Emergency crews were called to the house on Corazon Court near Breckenridge and Vineland roads just before 5 p.m. where the toddler was pulled from a pool.
The child died at the hospital.
It remains unclear how the child ended up in the water.
