Bakersfield Police Searching for Murder Suspect

Bakersfield police are asking for your help to identity a suspect in a 2016 murder investigation.

Leon Jones was shot and killed at approximately 9:30 p.m. Jan. 22, 2016, in front of Tommy’s Liquors in the 2500 block of South Chester Ave.

The suspect is described as a Black man, around 18 or 19 years old, with black hair with braids with red tips, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
