Apartment resident shoots and kills suspected intruder…..

Bakersfield Police say the resident of an apartment in the 6900 block of North Half Moon Drive in Southwest Bakersfield……shot and killed a man who tried to force his way into the apartment about 2:30 this morning……Police say the resident legally owned the firearm…., The investigation is ongoing.
