An attempted murder suspect escapes from custody……

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office confirms that attempted murder suspect 34-year-old Marcos Rosales was being transported to a medical appointment on F Street around 10:45 yesterday morning when he threw an unidentified powdery substance into the deputy’s face before running away…He then carjacked a vehicle on 28th Street, and drove off….He remains at large.
