5-Year-Old Dead After Being Struck By Car in Southwest Bakersfield

A 5-year-old boy has died from serious injuries after falling out of a car and being run over.
First Responders went to a house in the 5400 block of Seasons Drive near Winter Crest Drive at around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities say the child was struck after falling out of the family car and died at Kern Medical.
The incident remains under investigation.
