Monday's Mutt with Kern County Animal Services

Louie – 981815

Hello Kern County!  My name is Louie and I am a sweet and loving older male Cocker Spaniel mix.  My friends at the shelter believe that I am about 8 years old.  I came to the shelter on September 24th after I was rescued from the Taft area by a kind animal control officer.

When I was first brought to the shelter, my fur was very matted and dirty.  Since I have been at the shelter, the shelter staff and volunteer friends have been taking good care of me and I have had a bath and been groomed.  I feel so much better with all of those yucky matts off of my skin.  I am a much happier dog now too.

I would make a great fit for just about any family as I am a gentle and loving guy and I seem to enjoy the company of other similar sized dogs.  I enjoy play time and a good nap too.

If you think I could be the perfect fit for your family, please stop by the Kern County Animal Services Bakersfield shelter, located at 3951 Fruitvale Avenue.  My adoption fee is just $20 through the end of the month in honor of the shelter’s Best in the West Adoption Promotion Event.  My adoption fee includes my neuter surgery cost, first set of vaccinations, a microchip and more!  Don’t forget to mention my ID number when you visit – 981815.
